The next day, we woke up early to arrive at the Louvre art museum before the major crowds arrived. We only had a 5 minute wait to make it into the museum after it opened and we headed straight to see the Mona Lisa. The painting is smaller than you would think. Then, we headed to the upper floors of the museum and had glorious, non-crowded viewing the entire time. It was an experience that I probably will never get again.
